I hear the soft chirping of birds and the fast sound of cars driving past as I sip my coffee and take a bite out of my cake. Where am I? , located at the Carrara Shopping centre near the Carrara Markets.

It has got to be the cheapest and best little coffee shop on the Gold Coast where you are able to get a bargain with a $2.80 coffee of your choice and a complementary piece of cake.

The shop is known for its special offer, which I secretly believe has been copied by some other coffee shops around the Coast. Every day there is a new type of cake which means you can never get sick of having the same thing over and over again.

The coffees are wonderful as well, made by a great staff who is always smiling and very multicultural. It is the type of place you can just kick back and relax, without being in a busy surrounding and a great place to take a break from work or studies.

If you live around the area, then this place should definitely be on your have to visit list. I recommend you especially check it out in the afternoon after 2, when the busy rush is over and it is peaceful and only the noise of the sweet brewing coffee and chatters amongst the staff can be heard.

If it is too much of a drive for you, then visit their other smaller shop at Scarborough Street in Southport, you get the same coffee and cake deal. Take a walk over after you finish your shopping at the Carrara Markets on the weekend, you’ll get hooked.
