The most fun to be had these school holidays
Every year in Newcastle during the September/October school holidays, the Mattara Festival springs into action. It's one of our city's biggest annual amusement events.

This year will be no exception with a great array of entertainment, food, art and music as well as a jam packed daily program promoting different aspects of life. Mattara is located down at the beautiful Newcastle Foreshore and will operate 10am to 5pm every day of opening with individual events scheduled at specific times. A daily event calendar is available on the website.
