One last weekend of school holiday fun
After the torrential weather that Newcastle has been experiencing, the Mattara Festival of Newcastle has had to shut down its school holiday amusements at Wallsend Park. This weekend, however, between 12th - 14th October, it is re-opening for one last weekend for the families of Newcastle!

There will be major rides, a petting zoo, sideshow alley and much more!

The major rides will cost $5 for a child or $7 adult at the gate of each ride, however, a popular option is to buy a wristband which gets you 2 hours of unlimited rides for $25. The session times for the wristbands are 10am-12pm, 12pm -2pm and 2pm- 4pm (weather permitting). See the Mattara Festival of Newcastle website to book your wristband tickets and then take them to the main ticketbox on site.

As this event is dependent on the weather, please check the Mattara Festival of Newcastle Facebook for updates.
