Pretty dry is pretty funny and a good night out

Matt Stewart Comedian

He may be 'pretty dry' but Matt Stewart is also pretty funny so catch him upstairs in the Tea Room of the Chinese Museum at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2017 this Easter. Book your tickets here.

Matt Stewart, a mild-mannered bearded man, does not fail to impress with his deadpan tales of growing up in the country, milking cows, spotlighting rabbits and punching clay pigeons.

'Pretty Dry' Matt Stewart

He's a quiet achiever, and pretty creative too with dreaming up a list of uniquely Aussie superheroes like 'Redbackman', 'Funnelwebman', 'Wombatman', and the 'Compulsory Superannuation Man'. He's a little bit political with his observations about Captain America following around Captain Australia. But this is no surprise given Matt's writing ability for many television shows - 'never trust the quiet ones'.

Guess what?

Matt is also a new Dad.

It's diversity at its best! So get along and see Matt Stewart's 'Pretty Dry'; it's not about alcoholism, or social lubrication, it's not about Trump or America, but then maybe it is. But you won't know unless you go!
