Matt Kilpa is back in Perth for the WA premiere of 'Songs in the Key of Awesomesauce'. The 50-minute set mixes musical comedy, stand-up and a dash of improv.

Since his first gig, Matt became a finalist in the PICF Next Gen Comedy Competition, state finalist for the Triple J RAW Comedy Competition and has done three years of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Matt is immediately likeable. His comedic style is personable and the material drawn from his life is what shines through. His innate ability to read the audience keeps things flowing and builds a great 'feel' in the room.

This is a well-rounded show with some social commentary, science and just the right amount of self-deprecation. Matt really seems at ease on stage and as a result the show is perfectly paced.

A good show to catch with a group of mates, offering plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, you'll leave with a spring in your step.

If you can't catch Matt Kilpa at Fringeworld this, time he's definitely one to watch - anyone who can turn 'phenobarbital' into song clearly has a gift!
Songs in the Key of Awesomesauce is showing as part of Fringeworld, at Lazy Susan's Comedy Den, Upstairs @ The Brisbane Hotel, 292 Beaufort St, Highgate. Remaining shows are on the 15th, 16th and 18th of February 2018.
