Experience the Japanese culture
Come Sunday 2nd November this year, Mobara Park in Mawson Lakes will be transformed into a feast for the senses as they take you to Japan marking the anniversary of Mobara Park's opening in 2004. The City of Salisbury is hosting Matsuri on Mobara festival to introduce Japanese culture. Come and experience this unique festival and some authentic Japanese cuisine as a celebration of Salisbury's relationship with its sister city, Mobara in Japan. Apart from the traditional Japanese garden, sculptures and plants there will be plenty of activities to watch and participate on the day:

Martial arts demonstrations
Traditional kimono dress
Performances of traditional music and dance
Tea Ceremony

This event will run from 11am till 4pm.
