Taste of Italy in Wynnum
Little Italy has arrived in Wynnum with the opening of Matilda – The Art of Gelato.
Isabella and husband Rudi opened up Matilda - The Art of Gelato to bring a taste of Italy to Brisbane and the Bayside. They have certainly succeeded with a mouth watering selection of gelato with homemade tiramisu and waffles on hand.
A taste test confirmed the gelato as delicious with the passionfruit tasting fresh, tangy, and natural, like the real passionfruit it was. Real Italian Gelato – CONFIMRED! The gelato is made fresh on the premises using fresh fruit to bring out the natural fruit flavours.
Italian espresso and ground coffee is on hand with my espresso just $1.50! That makes it the best value coffee in Brisbane.
The cafe is bright, uncommercial with a European vibe that reflects the Italian heritage and the many customers who have discovered Matilda (named in honour of their daughter).
Party and bulk orders can be taken so you are never short of delicious ice cream, not matter the time of year.
Matilda' is open 7 days a week at 81 Edith Street in the heart of Wynnum Central, a short stroll from the Wynnum foreshore and Wynnum Wading Pool. Check out their Facebook page for times.
