Marvellous works of art using materials
Material Reverie is an exhibition on from Thursday 20 January 2022 until Saturday 9 April 2022 at Town Hall Gallery in Hawthorn. The exhibition brings a group of contemporary Australian artists' work together that explores a variety of materials used.

New forms are made from natural fibres, everyday objects that are discarded and household items that are found and upcycled which are presented in new works in Material Reverie. Artists throughout the years have captured their impressions of the world through their art. Artists use traditional weaving, sculpture and carving techniques as well as collage and painting

Material Reverie will feature works from the Town Hall Gallery Collection The artists are: Robert Brown, Teelah George, Dana Harris, Lou Hubbard, Shigemi Iwama, Cassie Leatham, Jahnne Pasco-White, and Louise Saxton.
