Matcha House is a Japanese green tea dessert place located on O'Connell Street in North Adelaide. We went there on a Saturday night and had Matcha Sundae Galore, Matcha Crunch Sundae, Matcha Waffles and Matcha Churros.

Both sundaes had the right amount of Matcha taste. The crunchy brown rice and cornflakes of the Matcha Crunch Sundae were a good contrast from the refreshing sundae.

The waffles came with green tea ice cream, vanilla ice cream and your choice of green tea or chocolate sauce. The crispy waffles and refreshing green tea ice cream made for a good combination.

The churros came dusted with Matcha powder and a bowl of chocolate sauce.

You can choose to sit at traditional Japanese seating which requires you to remove your shoes or at the conventional table and chairs.

The desserts were reasonably priced around $9.
