The National Gallery of Victoria is holding the Hermitage Exhibit from 31st July 2015 - 8th November 2015. The exhibit holds the largest collection of the legacy of Catherine the Great. It showcases great artists from Italy, Denmark and France. From the works of Rambrant, Rubens, Velázquez and Van Dyck.
This is an exclusive show in Melbourne, the exquisite collection was sources from the works from Catherine's thirty-four year reign for art pieces and decorative art pieces.
This exhibition was beautiful beyond words could express. I recently traveled to Melbourne to see it for myself, as I've always been interested in Catherine's reign but walking through the gallery just took my breath away. Being that close to some of the world's masterpieces was a brilliant experience for me. I would recommend this to all art lovers as well as non art lovers who just want a unique experience.
