This is probably the closest you'll get to Victoria's old country town of Ballarat. If you were to judge the surroundings of the Masani Restaurant, you would say that it is situated in the older part of Melbourne's city fringe suburb of Carlton. The buildings within the vicinity appear old fashioned and are eerily similar to those spotted in Ballarat's country town.

The Masani restaurant is a modest red brick establishment on the corner of Drummond and Faraday streets, enjoying the serenity away from noisy and popular Lygon street. Specialising in Italian cuisine, this place comes with an international wines list, appealing to virtually every taste.

There's also a profound sense of tradition at the Masani restaurant, for it is family owned and run, employing super friendly and professional staff with all sorts of experience. Due to the costs, this place should be reserved for the "once in a blue moon" special occasions.
