Listen to more than 40 bands, eat drink and be merry
The Marysville Jazz and Blues weekend is a fun event which will be amazing for all the jazz and blues lovers throughout Melbourne. It is an award-winning festival all about music, food, wine and community. The line-up of music is incredible and made up of both local and internationally known artists.

It is one of the biggest events on the local calendar and is in its 4th highly successful year.

The program is huge and features The Black Sorrows with Joe Camilleri, as well as the fabulous Renée Geyer.

Either of these two would be worth going to see on their own and this is a great opportunity to hear and watch two of the biggest names in jazz and blues. For times when they will be performing, please scroll down to the program link.

The weekend will be from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st October 2018. It will be held at Marysville, just 100 kms from Melbourne.

But that's not all - there are about 40 other solo and group performers during the weekend. Here are some of the artists to appear at this not to be missed weekend festival:

The Blue Souls - are a group of five Melbourne performers who play harmonica, guitar, bass, and drums as well as sing.

Jade Kerber's Haptica - is an international favourite 9-piece jazz band

Justin Thomas Trio - they play blues and jazz with a great energy

Rhythm x Revival - is a lively country blues band who play electric blues

Robbie Greig - who is a songwriter, guitarist, and singer who has played the coffee houses around Melbourne many years ago

Bev Fraser - Eva To Diva - Bev and her Band will lead you through a journey through times and great artists

The Gypsy Jazz Project - is a four piece acoustic Gypsy Jazz combination

Hoodoo Mayhem - are a New Orleans/Latin Street Brass Band

TK Reeve - are a Melbourne based blues duo who will play hill country and juke-joint style blues

Justin Yap Band - this is a swing dance shim-sham at Little Fishes Studio

Dr Craske & His Swingin' Elixir is a swing dance shim sham workshop

Wilson And White will be on harp and is a special workshop presented by Wilson & White

Julian James - is a special workshop with the main band member of Melbourne based Chicago Blues outfit Catfish Voodoo

Ben Charnley Quartet - Rhythm section vocabulary, understanding language used by rhythm sections

For the whole program - 3 days - $155 - this allows you unlimited access to all ticketed events over the weekend.
2 day ticket - $110
Saturday ticket - $75 all day
Friday night - $55
Saturday night - $55
One day ticket - daytime - $45

About The Black Sorrows
Joe Camilleri has been performing now for over half a century and is an icon in the music world. He is one of the most successful musicians in Australia and has been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007. He has also written numerous Australian hits that have become part of the Australian music culture.

About Renee Geyer
Renée Geyer's started her career as a Countdown superstar who, at the time, was in her 20's. She then went on to have many pop, soul and reggae hits during the 70's and 80's.

Renee has a unique talent and is someone who loves to perform on stage. She has performed with some of the greats of the world and is undeniably a music icon. You can read more about Renee at this link.
