Open just 6 months ago on Sydney Rd, Brunswick, Mary Eats Cake is a modern and inviting tea shop which specialises in serving artisinal teas and High tea.

To raise much-needed funds for Free the Bears, I had attended their fundraiser which included the High Tea and choice of their loose leaf tea blends. As a take home gift, we were given a coconut and mint tea combination.

Mary Eats Cake caters for dietary requirements; if you are gluten intolerant, vegetarian or vegan. There was plenty to indulge on the three tired cake stand. The freshly baked scones served with jam and cream were light and fluffy. The petite cakes where moist and decadent. The savoury treats were made up with interesting fillings.
These are all made inhouse.

High Tea sessions are available for as little as 2 guests - 120 guests. You can customise your High Tea experience with gorgeous workshops (think flower crowns) or sparkling on arrival.

Private Tea Rooms available to hire by day or night or they can bring the High Tea experience to you in your choice of venue or comfort of your home.

Over all a great place to gather a group of friends and enjoy eating some delicious treats whilst sipping tea and sharing in deep conversation.
