Mary Eats Cake at Montrose is the new sister store to their famous and well-loved Sydney Road, Brunswick store.

Located near the roundabout as you head up into the Scenic Drive of the Dandenongs it is a perfect location to begin or end your day with gorgeous treats and delights.

Inspired by Marie Antoinette and her famous statement "Let them eat cake", Mary Eats Cake is a modern twist on this beautiful old fashioned style of decadent eating.

High tea is served with a typical black tea and a paddle board filled with elegant and lovely savoury and sweet delights. Vegetarian options are available.

On our paddle boards, we trialled a divine mango cheesecake with sherbet topping, light fluffy scones with jam and floral infused cream, delicious little pies, sandwiches and chocolate cones, to name a few.

Mary Eats Cake is also available for parties and special events and if you're looking for somewhere really elegant for the ladies (and of course the gentleman) it's a beautiful location.

Don't be put off by the outside, which at the moment looks a little like a community centre. The moment you step inside you will feel warm, indulged and nurtured.

Reservations are recommended to ensure you receive a table.

Yes, I have been to one in Brunswick. Amazing. Good idea for them to start one in a tourist area.
