I write books on money and marketing, but happy to write on any creative topic.

Many come for the rainforest walk at upper Maleny. The longer circuit is a flat 2.5 km and so an easy trek, however, we walked in the rain, so it was quite puddly.

You enter through the Rainforest Discovery Centre, so you can learn a little and donate $2 to the area maintenance. Look out for the birds (listed on the board) - we saw a yellow and grey one. Also, look for the Pademelons. These look like wallabies but are not.

It was lovely to end the walk with a brunch at Rainforest Cafe. I had the pumpkin & spinach salad and a slice of lemon curd and myrtle cake, and it was divine.

Walk over the road or sit outside for a nice view of the mountain area.
