I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Drinks with a big screen (image JW)
The decor is bright and open with plenty of differently themed spaces in which to dine or drink and socialise. The outdoor terrace has a relaxed vibe and a gigantic screen whereas the Pavilion is popular with families courtesy of the huge and interesting playground.

Steak for lunch (image JW)
The
menu contains the usual pub grub meals of steak, burgers and schnitzel, as well as wood fired pizza and more upmarket seafood dishes. Lunchtime specials are good value as they include a drink but are not very well advertised. It should be noted that for $3 you do not get much sauce. Meals are ordered and paid for at the counter and you are given a buzzer for collection, they do get very busy and have had a few service teething problems.

The food was tasty and my
Vegan Whole Food Bowl was delicious, very filling and economical at $16. Food on the adjacent tables looked good and there was a happy buzz in the dining area. Vegetarian m vegan and gluten-free items are identified on the menu and there are seven options for children costing $12 inclusive if a drink and ice cream.
