Ever thought about starting an art collection, but didn't know how to go about it? MARS Gallery is holding an event that will help you on your way, offering a wealth of information with tips and tricks, as well as advice on what to avoid.

Geared towards the 25 - 35 age group - but open to anyone who would like to participate - Art Start will feature a series of knowledgeable speakers including Diego Ramirez (artist, writer and director of Ari) who will talk about how to buy art for an artist-run space, and Lucy Foster (from Leonard Joel) who will provide information about the auction process. There will be a tour of the MARS stockroom, drinks, and the opportunity to ask questions. The event is FREE.
