There's a great cafe in Marrickville that may have gone unnoticed for way too long. Situated at a less than busy end of Marrickville Road, it seems to attract less customers than it deserves.

I was famished when I visited the cafe. For some people, that may mean thinking that anything is delicious, but even when I'm famished, I'm extremely picky. To prove this, the first thing that came from my order was my raspberry and blueberry smoothie. In a foolish act of feigned health-consciousness, I specifically asked for no ice cream. It was too sour for my liking (they used a rather sour brand of yoghurt), and with much regret, it had to be remade several times. The tolerance of the employees at this cafe is definitely a plus.

When the smoothie was just right, my savoury dish came. It was a Roasted Veges Panini, and it was absolutely delicious. It was made of simple ingredients: pumpkin, avocado, beetroot, lettuce, pesto, parmesan spread (supposedly), and brown panini bread. However, sometimes simplicity is just what you need. The Roasted Veges Panini was healthy and tasty, and it filled me up just right.

If you happen to pass by Marrickville one day, do think about popping into the . The employees are very tolerant of perfectionists like me, and the cafe serves up some surprisingly simple yet scrumptious meals.
