Life is about the journey - some roads are not always what they seem but you sure learn a great deal from them!

This little rustic venue can be found hidden off Thomas Road, South of Perth. While you can certainly do a 'Google Search', Marri Golf Course does not have a website or even a Facebook Page.
Marri Golf Course brings back a flood of Mississippi memories. The building, pro shop and cart shed looks like they are built from a number of old shipping containers with a sort of rural rustic theme. There is gorgeous brick patio which is surrounded by hand crafted hanging wooden Marri chimes. A short-distance driving range right next to the golf shop which is tucked on the edge of the Native Marri Tree Forest, allows for dedicated golfers to hone in their skills before, or after, their game.
The golf course is well groomed and surprisingly the greens are faster than they appeared. Fairways are soft, making it easier to strike the ball, and the design lends to all level of golfers who either enjoy the straight shot or the tiger line.
The half way house, which was situated between hole 9 and 18, offers a range of quick meals for those on the go. It has a quaint rustic design which offers waiting golfers the opportunity to sit and enjoy a drink before being called to tee up.
As Marri Golf Course does not have a website, I would never have known about this course. And I can say it was a great privilege to have been invited to play this course with some friends.
If you are thinking about a game of golf, then maybe give Marri Golf Course a call. They might just be able to accommodate a tee time for you.
