Magnificent Views of Water and Mountains at Maroondah Dam.
Maroondah Reservoir Park more commonly known as Maroondah Dam, is situated at the far east end of Healesville, just before the road leads to the beautiful Black Spur.

Rose Garden Stone Path
The Dam construction began in 1920 and was finally completed in 1927. It was created to provide a catchment area to provide water for Melbourne.

The Dam Wall Bridge
The Park has several picnic areas, barbeques and rotundas and is an extremely popular destination for visitors, especially during the warmer months.

The Dam Wall
A cute little playground is also located at the park, with several miniature building wooden cottage cubbies to play in.

Playground and Sand Pit
A large sandpit completes the fun.

The grounds are very picturesque
There is plenty of room for large gatherings, a kick of the footy or for the kids to just generally run wild.

There are lots of Rotunda's and Picnic Areas located at the Park
The path to the top of the dam wall is approximately a 15 minute walk, either by stepping up the stone staircase path through the Rose Garden or the alternate bitumen path. Once you arrive at the top of the wall there is magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, the beautiful gardens, the catchment area and the overall view of the park.
This walk is called "The Lookout Track".

Bell Rotunda
There are several other walks available at the park for varying fitness levels. All have picturesque sights with stunning views of the mountains and natural bush land.
