Impromptu adventuring, exploring our backyard and then putting pen to paper, hoping to entice you to try one, if not all, of our escapades, is my true reward!
Just off Tanawha Tourist Drive to the west of Buderim, you will find the signage for the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens - 112 hectares of nature at its best.

Leaf Seat
On this particular day our choice was to explore the Sculpture Garden - exquisite display sculptures of Australian fauna, positioned throughout the amble. Take a seat and relax on one of the many benches provided along the pathway, whilst enjoying the absolute breathtaking beauty around you.

There is so much to see and enjoy. It's a perfect spot to take the family and a picnic basket and enjoy the perfectly manicured lawn areas or undercover picnic areas. Visitors are welcome to take their own barbecue equipment.

What a magical place. Definitely one for your "To Do List
Toilet facilities are available, but unfortunately no dogs are allowed. Plenty of parking is available too.
A fully operational Arts and Ecology Centre is located in the gardens and is definitely worth a visit.
