Event:
Bargains and a Men's Shed clearance sale
With Christmas closing in, as well as the warmer mornings, nothing beats a start to the weekend than coming across a new discovery at the local markets.

The Cleveland Uniting Church, located in Passage Street, in conjunction with their Men's Shed, is holding Markets on the Lawn on Saturday, 23rd of October. Commencing from 7 am and continuing through till noon, this is the perfect opportunity to wander amongst locals looking for bargains.

There will be market stalls full of Christmas items, crafts, books, plants, clothing, jewellery, bric-a-brac, and homemade cakes. Now I have to ask, who doesn't like a freshly cooked date and walnut loaf?

The Men's Shed is having a clearance sale at the same time, so if you're after some preloved tools to start on a project or two, this is the place for you. On the quiet, my sources tell me that there will also be epiphytes for sale if you are into gardening. I do hope my source brings one home for me!

The Cleveland Uniting Church is located at 36 Passage Street and there is both onsite and street parking available. Wear a hat, sunscreen, and take a shopping bag for all the treasures you find.

Entry to the markets is FREE.
