Markets are the perfect place to find something different and with Christmas around the corner, it is a good idea to visit Markets at Lakeside in the beautiful setting of The Australian Botanic Garden at Mt Annan. This market is open from 8am to 5pm in winter and spring and 8am to 7pm in summer. This is plenty of time for browsing, eating and enjoying the entertainment.

The kids are not forgotten with a special kids zone, which is made for fun. Along with the market stalls, food vendors and live music, this is a day for the whole family to browse, shop, eat and have fun. You will find boutique goods and the freshest produce too.

After a very unusual and stressful year, visiting is the perfect way to relax, enjoy the market atmosphere and grab a bargain all at the same time. There will be Christmas goodies as well as all the usual market fare, so make it a date on Sunday 29 November.

Bring the family, bring your friends and bring lots of recyclable bags for your many purchases. The market is situated on the lakeside lawn and the gardens are there to explore as well. GETTING THERE
There is free onsite parking and you can use the M5, M4 and M7. From Sydney, it is a comfortable 50-minute drive. If you wish to travel by train allow one and a half hours from Central Station.

You can start planning your train trip here on the Transport NSW website . Driving and train are the two best ways to arrive in Mt Annan.
