Following the success of the previous two events, a day of Marketabilities will be held to celebrate International Day of People with Disability. This event highlights and recognises the contribution that people with a broad range of disabilities make to the community as artists and as employees of the Spine & Limb Foundation.
The Spine & Limb Foundation will be hosting Marketability Mark III on Monday, December 3 from 10:00am to 3:00pm on the grassed area in front of the ParaQuad Industries building. Moreover, the artists and employees will be front and centre as hosts for the day.
There will be no sausage sizzle this time, but the gas pizza oven will be on the go.
Marketability Mark III will consist of outdoor 'market' themed activities where artists with disabilities will present quality artworks, and people in supported employment will demonstrate work skills.
Marketability provides the opportunity to appreciate the efforts of people living with disabilities in positive lifestyle roles as they sell a range of arts and crafts, delicious produce and plants. Moreover, a perfect opportunity to pick up a really unique Christmas gift.
The event will provide opportunities for members of the general public to appreciate the capabilities of people living with disabilities and to gain insights through interactive engagement and in some instances, guided tours.
But wait there is more
Inside the auditorium entrance, the Cafe caters for all your coffee, snacks, pies, cakes, and soft drinks.
