Market on the Mountain is celebrating their first birthday on Sunday 30 August 2015 from 10am to 2pm. You'll find them at the Olinda Hall on Olinda-Monbulk Road (corner of The Georgian Road and Olinda-Monbulk Road) in Olinda. This is an indoor boutique market with free entry, housing handmade, homemade and artisan products. Being an indoor market, come rain, hail or shine, it's one place you can attend without worrying about the weather.

You'll find wonderful Joyce and her amazing wood turned items made by her very own creative hands. Her items speak for themselves as Joyce does not have a Facebook page, nor advertises elsewhere. I remember talking to this lovely humble lady who calls her artistry a hobby. You have to admire what this lady can do. She certainly gives you food for thought that creativity is ageless.

Natural Soy With Love is a range of scented hand poured soy candles & soy melts. Check out her favourite scent, Wild Frangipani. It's the sort of gorgeous fragrance that lingers on throughout the home long after its been extinguished. Pipsey Blossoms , every young ladies 'must go to' shop. With Rainbow Flower Fairy Wands that come with a hair clip and ribbon, how could you resist? Rewarding Charts is all about empowering, engaging and educating your little ones; giving them a good head start. Check out the plethora of lovely ideas at this stall.

BC Charmed Jewellery is all about lockets among many other things. It's your locket, fill it with your design to personalise it and tell your story. Charms and lockets never fail to engage our desires to personalise our own unique pieces. Bellissima Glass has fused glass jewellery and gifts that are kiln fired using a combination of artist and dichroic glass and lots of style to create the desired look. They specialise in making pendants, rings and earrings and are one of a kind wearable art. Jellybean & Bubble is a mum who makes wonderful handmade items in spite of having her hands full with two lovely babies. Thank goodness for these creative crafters who can make handmade quality products we don't have the time to make ourselves. Handmade in Warburton is another stall that lets the product do the talking. They don't have a Facebook page but they do have gorgeous up-cycled timber crates and wonderful body products to pamper yourself with.

Who you gonna call? Hampsta Hampers of course, for that personalised hamper gift. Handmade hampers is the best way to go for that magical impact they have on the receiver, so make someone feel special today. Who doesn't love receiving a hamper filled with lovingly made goodies? Choose a theme, pick any theme, the list is endless. You can also get creative yourself with a little bit of help from Gourmet Morsels . Herb & Spice Connoisseurs, it's free delivery anywhere in Australia. Inspire your love of cooking with specialised Australian bush and international herb and spice blends. There's no MSG, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Bring out the 'Master Chef' in you. Raw Integrity Chocolates is all about raw organic vegan chocolate. In an industry filled with foods that do nothing for our health, why not check out the alternative.

The Craft Vixens will also be at the market with their unique cards for all occasions. Why not check out details for special orders for personalised cards. They also design and create wedding stationary and would be a good comparative to mainstream that's original and personalised for that special day.

Inglenook Children's Emporium is not always at the market, but you can buy their amazing unique handmade children's items via enquiries through their Facebook page. They work at enchanting children through play and the very creative owner Lesley and her sister Ellen are the organisers of Market on the Mountain . They gave birth to it a year ago when Lesley could not find good undercover artisan boutique markets to market her wares. The rest is history. They decided to start their own.

Make sure you get down there for this first birthday celebration. Ashley will be there with artisan burgers and Adam with grommet coffee to warm the cockles of your heart on these cold days. There'll be other stalls there that don't have Facebook pages like Ken the fretwork man who cuts silhouette fretwork images of celebrities and other curiosities. Marie makes cakes, preserves and lots more, so make sure you come down on this special occasion and discover Market on the Mountain .
