Sunbury's offers a huge range of stalls, most in celebration of the local artisans, handcrafters and growers. The range is as diverse as soaps, tea, furniture and home décor, as well as original artwork, fruit and vegetables, jewellery, terrariums, kids clothing and so much more. In fact there are over 100 stalls at , all with an emphasis on homemade or homegrown. Two featured sellers include scented candles by Sensilla Candles and Natural Berry's jams and marmalades.



Buyers and stallholders are encouraged to support the market's plastic bag free initiative. Buyers are asked to bring their own reusable bags, trolleys or baskets. However, if you forget you can show your support for this spirited little market by purchasing a high quality jute bags from the market, taking advantage of their special half price offer this May.

is held several times a year at Memorial Hall, Stawell Street, Sunbury. The next market is coming up on Saturday 28th May from 9am – 2pm with future dates including Saturday 27th August and Saturday 3rd December 2016. There is surrounding street parking. Sunbury is located approximately 40.4km or 1 hour drive North-west of Melbourne CBD.

The team behind are also working on a new initiative – a HomeGrown Alliance Pop Up Shop. With a long-term goal of giving ' a permanent space', if you have an amazing homemade or artisan product to sell, why not be part of the trial Pop Up shop in Sunbury? See the website for further details.



Another date to mark on your calendar is the Sunbury StreetLife Community Festival. Being held on Sunday 20th November in O'Shanassy Street, Sunbury from 10am to 3.30pm the festival will feature live entertainment, children's activities, local businesses, prizes and market stalls. The festival is still being organised and anyone interested in being part of this event either as a stallholder or volunteer can refer to the HomeGrown website and Facebook page for more information.

Volunteers are always being sought to support the market and other local initiatives. If you would like to be part of the local community, enjoy being active and feel the satisfaction of doing something worthwhile, become an active part of the HomeGrown team.
