First Edition

Vintage and fashion market shoppers, it's time to get excited. Introducing the brand new, Market on High First Edition market coming on Saturday 6th August 2016 from 11am to 3pm.

Brand, spanking and sparkly new. This is quite literally the first market of its kind held at the Northcote Social Club, and organisers are confident this market will have plenty more successful sequels. Each future market will be given a theme, so we'll be standing by for new releases as they come to hand.

Come expecting to find plenty of bargains on both vintage and new clothing, jewellery and fashion accessories. There will be the stallholders having a massive wardrobe clear-out alongside some local designers and emerging artists so you can mix it up any way you like.

This market is entirely indoors, so let it rain. It won't matter. You can stay as long as you like. And to make this a proper midday outing, sit down for a leisurely lunch from the a la carte menu at the restaurant and accompanying bar. Alcoholic beverages will be available from 12 noon.

New stallholders are most welcome to apply for future Market on High markets. Simply send an email with your details and information about what you will be selling to the organisers. Stalls are $35 for a 2mx1m space.

The Market on High First Edition market is being held in the band room at the Northcote Social Club, 301 High Street (corner Hawthorn Road) Northcote. There is a large public parking facility at the rear of the hotel.

If you are taking public transport from the city, jump on the Epping line to Northcote station. From there it is an approximate 15 minute walk. Alternatively, take the Number 86 Bundoora RMIT tram from Bourke Street heading north. Alight at stop #32, one stop after the Northcote Town Hall.

There's no web site dedicated to this market. But you can follow updates and find more information on their Facebook page by following the link here.
