Sunday 29 October 10am-3pm is a great day to visit Croydon Central , Undercover Car Park & The Grove, 5-15 Kent Ave, Croydon, as they pay homage to a piece of their market history. They'll be hosting a fun-filled free Market Day for all to enjoy, with pop-up stalls, live music, giveaways and kids entertainment. The now-evolved shopping centre was once a bustling food market established in the 1920s, and what a lovely sight that must have been. Sunday is when Croydon Central will play host to twenty pop-up stalls at this market day event. You'll have the opportunity to browse through a variety of unique items for sale, including handmade jewellery, pet products, ceramics, kids’ clothing, and homewares. See here for more details .

Plus there are lots of activities for the kids to enjoy. There's free entertainment such as face painting and balloon twisting. Plus the kids can take part in Croydon Central's special Halloween-themed Scavenger Hunt. All the kids need to do is find the codewords hidden around the centre to complete the hunt and win a spook-tacular goodie bag. Bonus - each child that completes the Scavenger Hunt will be given a Kids Eat Free Voucher to redeem in The Grove, valid with any purchase of a main meal.

If you're feeling particularly lucky, you can try your hand at Croydon Central’s Spin & Win’ giveaway wheel in The Grove. Each spinner gets the chance to win a custom Croydon Central tote bag, 1 of 50 x $20 The Grove gift cards, or the major draw prize of 4 x $250 Coles gift cards. If you simply want a break from the hustle and bustle, pull up a chair in the Centre's urban dining hall - The Grove, and enjoy live music from an acoustic artist while grabbing a bite to eat. There's plenty tasty bites on offer; you'll be spoilt for choice. If you're not familiar with a cuisine, but want to venture a taste, or simply try more than one cuisine, there'll be $5 sample plates available from selected retailers in The Grove, exclusively for Market Day. Treat yourself to sweets after with donuts, cupcakes, and cookies from the market’s delicious dessert stalls. For the adults, local gin distillery, Puss & Mew will also be popping up in The Grove for one day only, serving up refreshing alcoholic tipples and gin samples from 11.30am.
