Recently I scored a great deal on Groupon for 4 people in a 2 room cabin at the Marion Bay Villas, Yorke Peninsula.



Travelling in May I thought the weather might let us down but there were intermittent showers and I must say it didn't really interfere with the enjoyment of the weekend away.

Yorke Peninsula is a place I really love and I regularly come back too.

It has breathtaking scenery, lots of wildlife, surfing and swimming beaches, delicious bakeries and a buzzing family pub scene.



Marion Bay Villas accommodation was a pleasant surprise. When I have stayed in cabins previously I have always felt a lack of privacy and lacking in space inside. Not in this cabin.

While the cabins are close to each other, they are partially concealed by native plants making it feel quite private. The cabin exterior is a gorgeous blue and white, fitting in well with the scrub surrounds and close proximity to the ocean and nearby Marion Bay jetty where you can catch anything from squid and whiting to rays.

Walking in the living area, it is spacious as far as cabins go and the two rooms were a decent enough size. It was furnished with two 3 seater couches, dining table and chairs and kitchen fully stocked of utensils.

One contained a queen size bed which was extremely comfortable to sleep in and the other contained a bunk bed and a single bed. Perfect for the family. We were also able to fit a large porta-cot in the bedroom with the queen bed and hang our things in the supplied wardrobe.



Pets are also allowed at this park and there is a small kennel to pop your dog in, although I would suggest speaking with the owner first to check that yours is the only one booked in as it's not suitable for housing multiple dogs together from different families.

Would definitely stay here again. Nick the owner provided fantastic customer service both during the booking process and during our stay. Comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, quiet and great central location on a sealed road. Ten out of ten.
