There's nothing quite like water and sand to keep children happy for hours. If you would like to try a variation on swimming, why not book in for one of the free (or almost free) beach activities organised by
National Parks of South Australia . There's lots of new things to explore with the help of Rangers, Reef Watch experts and experienced snorkel leaders.
National Parks SA are holding reef rambles, night walks and snorkelling events all along the coast; from Hallett Cove to Port Macdonnell. If you are visiting the Limestone Coast, check the
Coastal Connections program for even more wet and sandy holiday fun. Investigate bush tucker, nocturnal dune dwellers, coastal and wetland birds, seagrass, Aboriginal culture, kayaking, fossils and fishing.
Marine Park's calendar of events contains everything you need to know on where to meet, what to bring, the cost and links for booking. Have a look at the following pages for information on the exciting events on offer.
