Are you up for some blitz cleaning of the Maribyrnong River and contribute to keeping our rivers and parklands clean and healthy? All of us have a responsibility for keeping our rivers clean, so why not make this the day you do your bit and have fun along the way with like-minded people?
On the 3rd of March 2019, you can join the Yarra Riverkeeper Association and Cleanwater Group for the Maribyrnong River Blitz.
You will be provided with bags, gloves, and safety gear to make it all super clean and super safe for you. There will also be some boats to get onto the river -canoes and kayaks will be available on a first come, first serve basis

Footscray City Rowing Club is surrounded by park and wetlands with plenty of clean up opportunity. You will feel great afterwards having done your good deed for the day! And, you never know, you may be inspired to take up rowing on the river.
