Enjoy wonderful treats in an amazing, boho atmosphere

After a cool, leisurely walk around the winding Margaret River, there was no place better to head for a lush cup of coffee and a snack than the Margaret River Bakery.

Recommended by a pair of sisters in our small gals-weekend-away group, we headed to the bakery ready for a run-of-the-mill style experience that is so often had at small-town bakeries. Little did we know that this snack-stop was going to far exceed our expectations and past experiences of country town bakeries!

The pure delight we had in discovering this boho-hidden gem of a bakery was immense! Right from the get-go, I was in love with the decor and sunny disposition of the staff.

Fitted to the nines with plush vintage couches, gorgeous bohemian decor, wooden floors and the whirling of green vines and pink flowers blooming under the eaves, I was in cafe heaven.

The bakery was a hub, a relaxed and friendly spot that boasted an amazing array of fresh-baked goodies including wraps, croissants, pastries, muffins, beautiful fresh loaves and more.

We ordered our coffees and some snacks and found a beautiful enclave outside. With the chandeliers and clipped images of Freida Kahlo donning the walls, the setting was perfect for a country cafe.

We ordered the custard and cream layered pastry, which was a heavenly experience shared by our group of friends.

It's good to note that there was also a wonderful variety of non-dairy milk to keep up with allergies and ethical preferences alike.

Overall, this bakery cafe had all that we could possibly need to round off a beautiful morning in Margaret River.

And try the custard pastry!!
