One of Sydney's biggest Festivals is back on again this year...The Mardi Gras!

To celebrate this bright, colourful and flamboyant Festival, Sydney will be hosting a range of both free and ticketed events that everyone can enjoy.

This loud and proud celebration will feature parades, parties, live music, performances, film, activities, entertainment and much more.

The list below features some events that will be part of this fun and exiciting Festival. For a full list of events see website .

1. Mardi Gras Parade
When: 5 March 2016: 7pm-10pm
Where: Flinders St, Darlinghurst (near Oxford St)
Cost: Free
Details: It will be the 38th anniversary for this parade and it will feature approx 10, 000 people uniting for a glittering explosion of pride in the heart of Sydney's gay and lesbian district. The streets will be filled with a dazzling spectacle of sparkles and self-expression with plenty of colour! Click here for website.



2. Mardi Gras Party
When: 5 -6 March 2016: 10pm-8am
Where: The Entertainment Quarter, 122 Lang Rd, Moore Park
Cost: General Admission: $156.50
Details: This Party is certainly one not to miss out on with over 12,000 partygoers from all over the world, it will be filled with plenty of celebrations, main stage performances, DJ's and entertainment. Click here for website.

3. In Bed With Madonna
When: 24 February 2016: 7pm-10pm
Where: Fleet Steps Rd, Sydney
Cost: $36.70pp
Details: This film celebrates the life of the most revered idol, shot during the Blond Ambition tour that took the world by storm in 1990 and was the highest grossing documentary of its time. It is an all-access film, which follows Madonna through health troubles, difficult return back home, and the tension with her then partner also while examining her relationship with her mother, father and siblings. 4. Fair Day
When: 21 February 2016: 10am-8pm
Where: Victoria Park, cnr City & Parramatta Roads, Campberdown
Cost: Gold coin donation
Details: This family & dog friendly event will attract more than 80,000 people enjoying international cuisines, market stalls, entertainment, dance and more. Click here for website.



5. Mardi Gras Film Festival
When: 18 February 2016 – 3 March 2016: 6pm-12am (weekdays) & 12pm-12am (weekends)
Where: Event Cinemas George Street, George St, Sydney
Cost: From $16pp
Details: Being in its 23rd year the Film Festival will feature films, documentaries and short films from around the world. Click here for website.

6. Party Cruise
When: 20 February 2016: 8pm-11pm
Where: Vagabond Cruises, Campbell's Cove Jetty, The Rocks
Cost: Standard Entry (18 only): $69pp & $109 entry with house beer, wine and soft drinks.
Details: This cruise party will feature DJ performances, indoor and outdoor decks across multiple levels and stunning views of Sydney Harbour. Click here for website.

7. Bear Festival
When: 21 February 2016 – 6 March 2016: 10am-5pm
Where: Various locations

8. Sydney's Original Gayborhood Walking Tour
When: 23 February 2016- 9 March 2016: 6:00pm-8:30pm
Where: 1 Oxford St, Surry Hills
Cost: $45pp
Details: This walking tour will be hosted with local and friendly guides that will give you all answers about Sydney LGBT community as you stroll through Darlinghurst, Potts Point, Kings Cross & Surry Hills. Click here for website.
