Trinity Primary School Carnival - Sunday 1st March. 10am-3pm.103-129 Oakgrove Drive, Narre Warren South. Rides, food, raffles, stalls and more.

Pixar Film Festival at Rosebud - Every weekend until 22nd March, you can watch all your favourite Pixar films at the Peninsula Cinemas, 30 Rosebud Parade, Rosebud. Check out the website for times and further details.

Sand Sculpting – Every day until 26th April. Friends, Foes and Super Heroes. McComb Reserve, Frankston Waterfront, 510 Nepean Hwy, Frankston. On weekends and school holidays, free face painting and roving entertainment. Tickets from $10.

Rosebud Kite Festival – Sunday 8th March. 11am – 5pm, Jetty Road, Rosebud Foreshore. See the sky alive with every colour of the rainbow, and there's plenty to do on land, too. With live entertainment, activities for the kids and food stalls.

Somerville Family Day – Monday 9th March. 10am – 9pm, Fruit Growers Reserve, Edward Street, Somerville. Rides, face painting, food, displays and activities.

Environment Week Festival at The Briars – Sunday 15th March. 11am – 4pm, The Briars, 450 Nepean Hwy, Mt Martha. Meet Dirtgirl, pat live animals, pot a plant, tour the Eco House, learn about composting and worm farms and trek through the woodlands and wetlands. Food stalls, live entertainment and displays.

Baany to Warrna Ngargee (Water to Water Festival) – Saturday 21st March. 2pm – 10pm at The Briars, 450 Nepean Hwy, Mt Martha. Family friendly event featuring Indigenous music, art, dance and culture. Activities and food stalls. Alcohol free. Gold coin donation for parking.

Ironman Asia Pacific Championship – Sunday 22nd March. Frankston Waterfront, Frankston. See participants swim, ride and run through Frankston, with the event running all the way up to the finish line in St Kilda.

Pearcedale Primary School Autumn Carnival – Sunday 22nd March, 9am – 3pm. Cnr Baxter-Tooradin Rd & Peryman Street, Pearcedale. Rides, activies, face painting, auctions, plants, white elephant, showbags, food and drinks, fruit and veg, stalls.

Ventana Fiesta- From Friday 27th February to Thursday 26th March, the streets of Frankston will be full of the colour and atmosphere of Latin America, Portugal and Spain. From the Frankston Arts Centre to the libraries of Carrum Downs and Frankston, the Waterfront, Malls and Wells Street Plaza. The full program is available online at Ventana Fiesta.

The Peninsula Picnic – Sunday 29th March, 12noon – 7pm. Mornington Racecourse, 320 Racecourse Road, Mornington. Bring a picnic rug and enjoy food, wine and music from best local chefs, restaurants, vignerons and entertainers. The Waifs, Paul Dempsey, Pierce Brothers, Tinpan Orange and Hayden Calnin. Tickets from Ticketek. Adults $74, Children 5-17 $12, Under 5 Free, MRC Members $54.

Saturday 1st March: Red Hill Community Market. 8am – 1pm at the Red Hill Recreation Reserver, Arthurs Seat Road, Red Hill.

Every Sunday (Note: NO Market on the 24th March due to Ironman Championships): Frankston Sunday Market. 8am – 1pm. Young Street carpark, Frankston. Trash'n'treasure, food, craft, plants, entertainment.

Sunday 8th March – Mornington Craft Market. 9am – 2pm at the Mornington Racecourse. Racecourse Road, Mornington.

Every Wednesday in March: Main Street Market. 9am – 3pm along the Main Street, Mornington. Craft, plants, gourmet food, toys, fashion & more.

Every Thursday in March: Wells Street Farmers Market. 8am – 2pm along Wells Street, Frankston. Cakes, pastries & bread, fruit & veg and meats.

Saturday 14th March - Revival Market. 9.30am-2pm. Mornington Racecourse, Tyabb Road, Mornington. Pre-loved vintage, collectables, bric-a-brac, live entertainment, kids activities, food and drink. Free onsite parking.
