This Saturday, Maraylya Public School will be hosting their popular Christmas Festival. This vibrant fundraising event will feature a host of fun activities and events for all to enjoy.

The festivities will commence at 2pm and all members of the local community are invited to come along. Throughout the afternoon, event-goers can peruse a diverse range of market stalls, enjoy rides and attractions and participate in some great events, such as a silent auction, chocolate wheel and a raffle draw with some neat prizes up for grabs, including an iPad, iPad Mini and $250 Coles/Myer Gift Card.

One of the attractions of the forthcoming Christmas Festival is the pop-up Games Arcade, where event-goers can play the latest video games alongside family members and friends. There will be a total of 16 titles to choose from, including Guitar Hero, NRL, Halo, Call of Duty, Wii Sports and Xbox Kinnect. You can choose to play indoors or outdoors.

Other rides and attractions include a Laser Tag facility, Giant Hamster Balls, Camp Quality Bash Cars, Wally the Whale - a giant inflatable slide, an all ages Lady Bug ride and a Gigantic Jumping Castle. Event-goers can have unlimited access to these attractions for $30 or $20 excluding the Games Arcade.

Another highlight is the 'White Elephant' market stalls offering a diverse range of pre-loved items which would make unique Christmas gifts for family and friends and the food stalls will be serving up home-style sweet and savoury treats throughout the afternoon. The kids are sure to love the showbags on offer as well!

Santa will also make a special appearance at the Christmas Festival and there will be a selection of live family-friendly entertainment on offer - including traditional Christmas carollers.

The event will be held on the grounds of Maraylya Public School, located in Maraylya from 2pm to 8pm. Entry is free.
