Explore the world without leaving Melbourne
Mapping Melbourne is a free festival run by Multicultural Arts Victoria that exhibits the work of independent artists who use a range of different art forms to explore the theme of Asia and identity, and its fourth edition will be held from the 1st to the 17th of December 2016.

Both established and rising artists from a variety of countries including Singapore, Indonesia, China, Australia, India, Thailand, Malaysia and Japan will be showcasing their work during this festival.

There is sure to be something for everyone at Mapping Melbourne, with a very busy schedule filled with visual art, live art, music, contemporary dance, public programs and new multidisciplinary collaborations that will be held at various locations around Melbourne City.

Mapping Melbourne is a great opportunity for artists to build connections and relationships between one another across the region of Asia, which is important for art as well as for our own understanding of each other's culture and way of life.
