Nestled in the quiet Realm precinct in Barton surrounded by leafy green trees, is Maple and Clove, a cafe that prides itself on being all about the nourishing but also delicious food that we can use to fuel our bodies.



So I was not surprised when I got there that they had items such as Super Nut Smoothie, Super C Fruit Juice, Egg White Omelette and Raw Green Salad on their menu. All delicious sounding and all great for your body! However, on this visit to Maple and Clove, I ordered the Sweet Potato Hash with gypsy ham, scrambled eggs, dukkah, toasted almonds and rocket. I was really happy with what I choose, as all the elements worked well together and the crunch of almonds added some much-needed texture to the dish.

Accompanying my eggs was some rather delicious chai tea.
