Just in time for Hallows' Eve. Take one stunning old historic French Renaissance Melbourne mansion and add a very clever story with an artistic performance - then you invoke the full haunting experience of the . This is the second instalment of a love storey by Bass G Fam Creative Producers. The first being Matador, which gained high acclaim.

The Labassa Mansion was built in the 1800s and has been home to many elite families. It has also had ghostly sightings since the 1920s, so it is the perfect environment for this performance.

In this second show, the husband has tragically died and the wife and two kids, who are devastated, move to the mansion to try to find a new life. It goes horribly wrong.

The ghosts are too strong. The Mansion is haunted.

This performance has received so much attention it was featured on Channel 9. This show blends stunning choreography, dancing, and circus dynamics with modern songs.

The performance magically weaves a tale of tragic lost love. The wife is not coping with the loss of her husband, nor the children their father. The ghosts haunting the mansion are trying to take control out of the anger of their own lost loves and lives. They are restless and reaching out to the audience as guests. Be prepared to be scared. Sometimes you feel like the ghosts are going to reach out and grab your very ankles.

It is a walking stage as you weave through the majestic front door, and into the stunning rooms with authentic period furniture.

Your guide is actually one of the producers, totally unrecognisable in costume, but demanding in moving you from space to space with a thump of his cane.

There is so much to admire. The costumes are stunning and the dancing is magical. At first, I thought there was not enough forward light to enjoy the scenes, but the lighting lifted as we moved room to room and the drama unfolded. Finally, you could see the actors, the costumes and their talent. Congrats to the choreographers Josephine Maglillo, Gerard Pigg, and Indigo Hunt.

Only once did the blue lighting blind my eyes in the bathroom scene, so I could not enjoy the exquisite dancing. So don't go left when you go into the room when you spot the bathtub. Go right and the lighting highlights the dancer spectacularly.

You will be enthralled by this scene. Is this really happening to the wife? Is it real or are the ghosts controlling your very thoughts and feelings?

The circus acrobatics are a surprise bonus and a visual delight and performed with skill and talent. Impressive. As I followed our lighting guide through the nine rooms, I was so impressed with the choreography in such tight spaces. You will be too. The guide tries to protect the family, but the struggle for control by the ghosts is overwhelming. Who will survive the haunting? You must get to this show and discover it for yourself.

If you love a good ghost story put this on your list.

Please note that at times the music and dialogue can get quite loud.

Parking is not available on the streets around the mansion, so go a bit early as there is parking on other streets. It is only a short walk.
You definitely need to book as the show is very popular. But they are putting on extra shows at 9pm so everyone gets to see it. See Ticketmaster for bookings .
