Fri 02 Nov 2018 - Tue 06 Nov 2018
The is one that goes on for 5 days, and includes Melbourne Cup Day! It will start on Friday 2nd November and continue until Melbourne Cup Day, Tuesday 6th November 2018.
This festival has a huge range of activities that just go on and on! They are presented by community groups and local businesses. Some of the things on include village fairs, food and wine events, arts and exhibitions, a grand parade, a torchlight parade, fireworks, and to top all this fun up, there will be a fun run. They will stage their very own Mansfield Cup race day and this is sure to complete a wonderful festival that is well worth attending.
One of the activities at this festival, The Grand Parade, has been produced for some 34 years. This old tradition of community groups, businesses and people, will see locals make an effort and dress up in various outfits, and participate in this wonderful community event. This is always a very popular part of the festival for both visitors and locals.
The same goes for their other fantastic parade, the Torch Light Parade. In this one, they fit as many people as they possibly can into either a fire truck or some sort of emergency services vehicle, and this is also a great deal of fun for onlookers.
