This unobtrusive little restaurant is one of the cosiest places to eat in this part of the world, and their food is just amazing.
This year, we went to the Manse for Mother's Day, and it really was a treat. Their deep fried camembert is one of the best thing I've ever put in my mouth (up there with chocolate and smoked salmon, I think). Speaking of salmon, I had it for my main, and it was absolutely perfect, especially served with roasted beetroot.
The menu is a mixture of modern Australian and international dishes. Located in a historically significant vicar's cottage, the restaurant itself is filled with old-world charm; wooden floorboards and white-washed walls that add a real sense of elegant comfort to the whole experience.
The prices are very fair for the quality of food, and the location is handy for anyone from Byford to Cannington. The staff are helpful and cater well to families - there's a standard kids menu available.
