Located along Kensington Road in Norwood, Manna Coffee Shop is a little-known place that offers both Asian and Western dishes. Aside from the items on their main menu, the cafe also offers a selection of specials listed on a blackboard behind the counter where you place your order.
One of the dishes offered as a special was the Curry Chicken Rice. The chicken in their Curry Chicken Rice was cooked just right with the gravy having the degree of spiciness we desired. The curry also had chunks of potato and carrot of a generous size which complemented the chicken well with its firmer texture. Aside from rice, the curry also came with a piece of roti which was light and crisp.

Their Beef Noodle Soup is great for helping warm you up on a cold day. It had chunks of tender beef partnered well with noodles cooked to al dente. The soup broth had a subtle savoury flavour that helped to lift the flavour of the other ingredients. The dish normally has beef tendons in addition to the beef, but you are able to request for it to be omitted.

The ambience of the cafe is quite cosy but be aware that seating space is a bit limited with only enough seating for about thirteen people. A decent amount of parking space is available on the street where the cafe is located. It's a convenient place to have a quick lunch or buy something to take back to the office.
