On a Quest for a great weekend away? Then head to with friends or family. In this case, my friends were to be the lucky chosen ones, although they may not see it that way.

Located on the Esplanade and situated directly opposite from the Manly Ferry can only make for a great time and with the beautiful views of Sydney Harbour you wouldn't want to be anywhere else.


If I could have borrowed someone's kids there is no doubt you would have found me at the well-known waterslide park called Manly Waterworks, however I think I would have been on my own there where my friends were concerned. But if you do have the little ones in tow then I would also suggest Manly Sealife Sanctuary.

[ADVERT]If sliding down a dark tunnel in water or fish aren't your thing you will still find plenty to do as you can literally eat and drink your way around Manly. Start at Hugo's , which is directly across from Quest, for the best pizza you will ever taste, drop by The Wine Bar for a decadent cocktail or two or three, then a quick stop through The Steyne Hotel because after all you are in Manly and you can't say you were in Manly if you haven't stopped by the Steyne (or so I was told).

I do need to mention what I generally look for is a parking (tick), gym (tick), wifi (tick) and seriously comfortable bedding (tick). I think I slept longer here than I have for a long time and that goes for my friends also, as I did see one trying to smuggle out a pillow. Kidding! No that was me. Still kidding!

On a serious note however, I would like to finish up by saying that for anyone heading to Manly, the staff, rooms and views at Quest Apartments were all superb.
