Who knew how stunning it is?
I have lived in the Manly area for many years, but have not ventured up to the Q Station until recently. Perhaps it was because I thought of it only as a place for ghost tours and holiday accommodation, but it is so much more than that.

Q Station offers great recreational facilities including well and fitness retreats. You can swim, snorkel, kayak and paddle board at Quarantine Beach or even go scuba diving.

After dark, take a nature tour and experience our nocturnal wildlife in its own environment – using night vision goggles you will see owls, bandicoots, possums, echidnas a more. Alternatively, if you are brave enough, venture out on one of Q Station Ghost and Paranormal Tours.

Whether you like bushwalking or taking a quiet Sunday stroll, you, will love North Head and the surrounding areas, with beautiful harbour views and seeing endangered plant and animal communities. Maps of the area are available from Q Station reception.

For lunch, enjoy a picnic at the beach or head over to The Luggage Store Café & Museum, which is open 7 days a week. Located alongside the wharf, the café not only serves great coffee, ice cream and light meals, but also features displays about the former Quarantine Station, where migrants suspected of carrying contagious disease were quarantined to protect Sydney community from infection.

If you prefer a more substantial lunch or dinner, you can dine at the Boilerhouse Harbourside Restaurant and Bar, which is open for lunch from 11am – 3pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday and for dinner 7 days a week from 6pm. To view their menu and book visit the Q Station Website .

Q Station also caters for weddings, birthdays and celebrations and product launches. For yoga enthusiasts, Q Station has partnered up with Skye Lifestyle and presents a series of Sydney Harbour Yoga retreats.

During school holidays, you will find great tours including history tour, ghost tracker tour and also writing workshops for children aged 9 years and up.

Located at North Head Scenic Drive, Manly – approximately 5 minutes by car from Manly Wharf, Q Station is also accessible by Manly Fast Ferry.

Parking is available near QStation reception, then you can simply walk down to the wharf or catch a complimentary shuttle.
