Truffles seem to be everywhere but that doesn't mean that we can't have more. You can't have enough of a good thing and this is full of great things. Wine and truffle lovers will be in heaven when at this festival. There are so many things to see and try at the
Manjimup Truffle and Wine Festival. Plus you will get to meet some beautiful truffle dogs which is a huge treat!
This festival will be showcasing the best truffles on offer. There will be leading chefs giving demonstrations, wine tastings of some of the best wines on offer and entertainment and masterclasses. They will show you how just a small grating of truffle on top of something will make everything so much more delicious. Plus they will show you how to pair the best wines with your meals. You have the chance to take a tour of the Manjimup and Pemberton regions where the best truffles are to be found. This includes Truffle Hill Wines, Hidden River Estate, Ampersand Estates, Tall Timbers Manjimup, Pemberley of Pemberton, Stonebarn Estate and lots of others.
During this time, there will also be book signings, degustation dinners and more. There are even products that you can buy to take home. You can also go with the truffle hunting dogs to find your own truffle. These clever dogs will snuffle their way through the undergrowth until they have found you the biggest and smelliest truffle around.
Tickets are not available until you get there, you cannot pre-book. If you want to visit the region during this festival, plan ahead- this is going to get busy. The festival starts on Friday June 24th and goes until Sunday June 26th. The events take place during the festival at varying times so make sure to check the website for the specific events you want to attend.
