Iím an Adelaide local who loves her city and I enjoy sharing my experiences! I love to travel, see live music and making new discoveries in this beautiful town.

Experience wonderful and authentic Asian cuisine at Mangosteen, situated in the historic township of Tea Tree Gully. Mangosteen has a warm and friendly atmosphere and offers an extensive selection of dishes from places such as China, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Mangosteen is an ideal place to meet friends for dinner, from an intimate meal for two to larger groups for that special celebration.

The generous menu features dishes such as your traditional satays, spring rolls, soups and noodles or perhaps you can try their chargrilled prawns or squid. My personal favourite has to be the red duck curry which is absolutely delicious.

There's also a fabulous desserts menu featuring treats such as coconut and banana sago, fried ice cream and sticky rice with mango and coconut sauce. Treat yourself to a great night out in a lovely relaxing atmosphere, you will not be disappointed!

Mangosteen is located at 1362 North East Road, Tea Tree Gully. The restaurant is open every Tuesday and Wednesday 5pm - 9.30pm, Thursday 5pm - 10pm, Friday and Saturday 5pm - 10.30pm, and Sunday 5pm - 9.30pm. Closed on Mondays. You can contact the restaurant by telephone on (08) 83962111 or takeaway on (08) 83950339. Check out their website at
