Mandurah Crab Festival is on again
The Crabfest has been a popular Mandurah event for many years, and this year, marks 20 years of celebrating the Crabfest, so you can expect lots of exciting activations based on this! The Crabfest would not be a Crabfest without a celebration of the native Blue Manna crab, and you will once again find this available at many of the food vendors for 2018.
It will be on from 17th to 18th March, 2018 and is presented by LiveLighter.
There will be a variety of market stalls, as well as market stalls from both the Mandjar Markets and the Boardwalk Markets.
The live music, entertainment and a fireworks display in the evening.
You will be able to watch well known and regional chefs on the cooking stage, with cooking demonstrations running during the day. This will be hosted by actor and comedian, Peter Rowsthorn, so make sure you visit the Cooking Stage to "see food" being prepared by special guests, celebrities, and some of our favourite local chefs.

The En Plein Air Art competition and the Children's Dress-Up competition will both return this year. The art is a fantastic opportunity to present the "atmosphere and energy" that is Crabfest in your art, whilst showcasing your work to the crowds.
This year, all art will be exhibited at the Vivid Art Gallery in Smart Street Mall, and the categories for judging include:
