Zero Waste Victoria has postponed both their festivals originally scheduled for Sat 12 June and Sat 24 Jul and plan to announce a new date next week. But for now, they're waiting and following Government advice like all of us to avoid the need to reschedule again.

They have instead planned something special for you - online! Along with Uchangeu, they are holding a mindfulness session to help you maintain your calm and eco-warrior zen, as we face the stressors, anxiety and all that the pandemic has thrown our way. Managing Eco-Anxiety will be held on Saturday 12 June 2021 from 10am and it's free. This mindfulness session will help refocus your inner eco-warrior, and rebalance the calm to find the strength you need. This session is led by Rachel Sietzema, a Mindset Coach, who helps people navigate the feeling of overwhelm, manage life's stresses, and uncover their true confidence. She takes a holistic approach towards sustainability and empowers people to take a balanced approach while being environmentally conscious and inspiring others.

The event will be moderated by Kirsty Bishop-Fox, a sustainability and waste consultant, advocating environmental awareness to transform the approach to waste, recycling and sustainable living. Kirsty specialises in environmental behaviour change and education programs to support community engagement and sustainability initiatives. Stop overthinking and head to the event page and find out more.
