Dads - come out out with your babies to raise money
If you are expecting a baby (or should I say your wife is!) or if you have a new baby, then this is the event for you. Man With a Pram is hitting Sydney this year. It is an annual Fathers Day fundraiser and this year, the theme will be 'The Village That Raises a Child'.
From 8.30 am, new dads, mums, grandparents and friends will gather at the Broughton St Lookout for coffees and pastries provided by event partners Bakers Delight, the bread baking food people.
The Man With a Pram walk will then follow. Fathers will push their babies and children in their pram while socialising with others from their area. It's a celebration of new life and showing the importance of active fatherhood!
The walk will take the place along the Peter Kingston Walkway, up to Wendy Whitely's Secret Garden in Lavender Bay.
After the walk, you can enjoy several activities and spaces for new parents. This is a great opportunity to connect with other new dads, have some food, spend time with your children, and most of all, inspire dads in this important stage of their lives.
Tickets to this event are by donation and you can book them at this website.
