Indulge in decadent pleasure. Whether you love decadent high tea or an aphrodisiac chocolate to "get you in the mood" - you'll love Mámor Chocolates.



Savour the unique taste of a handmade chocolate truffles, crafted using 70% dark Belgian Callebaut. Rather than a shop open every day, Mámor is a salon available for private afternoon tea bookings. It is currently open to the public for a few hours on Friday and Saturday.

Mámor is now serving high tea (chocolate of course, and more) in the parlour. They even sell specially blended herbal chocolates to boost a flagging libido, gift boxed for that special someone.

Hanna has just proudly advised me they were just featured as best Melbourne chocolates, by the journalist from the World Chocolate Guide - quite a feat.

Lets begin with the Mamor experience:

You enter a wonderfully baroque boudoir themed chocolate shop - located in a Collingwood terrace house. You are welcome to come to purchase chocolates for high tea, organise a business function or pre-order your corporate gifts.

Moving on to High tea:

This is a high tea with strong European style. Special requirements may be accommodated, as a sample you may find: chicken liver mousse and liptó cheese pâté, artisan style chocolate truffles (hand made on site in the chocolate laboratory by our host and owner Dr Hanna Frederick), Somlo sponge cake (which is a rum soaked walnut and chocolate sponge cake layered with vanilla pudding, apricot jam, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce). Add to that some French bubbly, juice, coffee and a selection of T2 teas and you and your friends will be delighted. Take a look here at the menu below.



This is a beautiful high tea venue, whether it is just you or you are hosting a party or special event. Hanna will assist you to create your own themed couture menu - whether it is birthdays, engagement, anniversaries or corporate meetings. You are welcome to choose from the seasonal menu or create your own from sweets, savouries and drinks.

The menu changes to reflect seasonal produce and themes. Near Christmas, Mámor's popular Festive Afternoon Teas include strawberry and white chocolate cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries and Christmas pudding truffles. All served in antique European china and silver. Visit often for something new.

HIGH TEA:

Monday to Friday high tea start times, 10.00am to 5.00pm, $38.00 per person.

Weekends high tea start times: 10.00am to 5.00pm, $45.00 per person

Chocolate Mini High Tea:

During weekdays, no minimum number required. Call at a short notice and enjoy a European-style High Tea served in antique porcelain and silverware in the Mámor Chocolate Szalón. Includes everything freshly made on the premises - such as scones with jam or muffins, 3 artisan chocolate truffles, choice of leaf tea, espresso or hot chocolate.

Monday to Friday start times - 10.00am to 4.00pm, $12.00 per person

The elegant, sophistication of high teas, allows us to lead into the bedroom tease. Oh yes, you recall I interested you earlier with the promise of an "in the mood" treat. Even that you will find at Mámor.

Tomcat Alley Aphrodisiac Chocolate


Mámor would love you to try their aphrodisiac pleasure truffles - acting as a a healthy and natural aphrodisiac enhancer for men. They assure me you'll be pleasurably surprised and your male lover will cherish this gift - perfect for Valentine's gifts.

Mámor suggest two pieces a day, for three days (six chocolates) to achieve effect. Although they say (hold on to your hats here) dosage can be doubled for more rapid effect. Let's move on to the Chocolate experience:

True chocolate heaven. Using pure Belgian chocolate, fresh cream, real fruits and herbs. No preservatives, no artificial flavours. Yes, they have a short shelf-life – best to eat in 6 weeks. Really? None of mine ever made it past a few days, you're doing better than me if you can keep them past 6 weeks.



You can try classic and unusual chocolate blends such as Strawberry Blackpepper, Jasmine Tea, Cherries in Liquor Assortments, Rosemary Sea Salt, Chilli Kaitaia, Raspberry Framboise, Champagne Green Apple, Orange Cointreau, Butterscotch, Mint, Passion Fruit and Cherry Ripe, just to name a few.

What about the world view and commitments to sustainability?

So far this review has been all about you, about your amazing experience, your treats, your time out. Mámor strive to create this special experience for you, however one of the things I love about them is that it is all done in a globally accepted manner.

Mámor is an ethical company, joining global commitments of their chocolate supplier Barry Callebaut. In order to empower cocoa farmers, Mámor work with organizations in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Brazil - consistently supporting farmer training and programs key cocoa growing regions. Mámor strive to conserve resources, minimise environmental impact, and maximise waste recovery and recycling.

Ooo. Melbourne has even more chocolate!? I've shopped at Max Brenner's, Lindt, Haigh's and San Churro and now there's another one to try.
