This was my first experience at visiting caves and I left feeling in complete awe of what life was like in prehistoric times. Opting for the self-guided tour option, we were happy to be given a headset and MP3 player so we could take our time and meander through.

It was highly educational and I found it easier to retain the knowledge as you could replay any parts you missed. There was an option for guided tours too which run regularly throughout the day between 9am and 4pm.

The $22 adult entry fee was worth it and it took roughly an hour and half to explore it all. If you are considering exploring more of the region or can't decide which cave to visit, the Ultimate Pass - Three Caves plus the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse tour may be an option for $70 per adult. Well worth checking out this beautiful Margaret River Region.
